The TVI Take
An Israeli thriller imported by Apple TV+, in which Liraz Chamami's Orna refuses to accept that her daughter Gali has been arrested for smuggling heroin into Moscow and follows the supply chain backward through criminal Europe. The show is most assured in its first three episodes, a procedural mother's-investigation thriller, and starts to lose plausibility once the corruption network reveals its full scope.
Chamami's central performance is the load-bearing column when the script gets ahead of itself.
